Skin Rejuvenation Clinic’s ProLipo Plus Reviewed on KSTP’s Twin Cities Live

On an episode of Twin Cities Live that aired on October 21, 2009, Skin Rejuvenation Clinic’s ProLipo Plus laser lipolysis (liposuction) procedure was reviewed, along with two other treatments that claim to trim and slim bodies, the Spirulina Wrap and the Zerona laser.

Dr. Jamie Davis, a Mayo trained dermatologist and third party physician reviewed all three treatments during the live segment and Skin Rejuvenation Clinic is proud to announce that their ProLipo Plus procedure received the highest accolades and earned a rave review for its efficacy and results.

FDA-approved in 2007, this laser liposuction technique does not require a patient to be “put to sleep” with general anesthesia. Instead, tumescent lidocaine is used to fill the area which provides localized numbing, so the patient is kept relaxed, comfortable and awake, able to communicate with the physician. Unlike traditional liposuction, the ProLipo Plus method actually liquefies fat cells before they are removed causing much less trauma to tissue, resulting in decreased bleeding, swelling and bruising. This ultimately leads to a speedier recovery.

A bonus to the ProLipo Plus procedure is the skin tightening effect that follows. ProLipo procedures cause the body to stimulate production of collagen, resulting in smoother and tighter skin in the targeted area, with continued tightening for up to six months.
